Focus College of BC and SVIET of Punjab has signed Memorandum of Understanding
ਸਰੀ, 13 ਜੂਨ (ਹਰਦਮ ਮਾਨ)-ਬੀ.ਸੀ. (ਕੈਨੇਡਾ) ਦੇ ਫੋਕਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟਸ (ਸਵਾਈਟ), ਪਟਿਆਲਾ (ਪੰਜਾਬ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਉੱਦਮ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਪੱਤਰ (MOU) ‘ਤੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਨਾਲ SVIET ਦੇ ਅੰਡਰਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਫੋਕਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਫੋਕਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸੀ.ਈ.ਓ. ਸਜਾਦ ਅਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਆਫ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟਸ (ਸਵਾਈਟ) ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਗਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਜ਼ੀਡੈਂਟ ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਗਰਗ ਨੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਵਾਈਟ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਗਰਗ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ SVIET ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ 2004 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਘੂਨਾਥ ਰਾਏ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਐਂਡ ਚੈਰੀਟੇਬਲ ਟਰੱਸਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ-ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਈਵੇ ‘ਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ 30 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਦੂਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਬਨੂੜ ਸਥਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਵਿਚ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ, ਫਾਰਮੇਸੀ, ਪ੍ਰਾਹੁਣਚਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਟਰਿੰਗ, ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਸਟੱਡੀਜ਼, ਪੈਰਾ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ, ਬੇਸਿਕ ਸਾਇੰਸਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬਧਤ 42 ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਫੋਕਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸੀ.ਈ..ਓ. ਸਜਾਦ ਅਲੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ 1992 ਵਿਚ ਫੋਕਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਪਾਰ, ਆਈ.ਟੀ., ਅਤੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ, ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ-ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਆਫਿਸ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ, ਅਕਾਊਂਟਿੰਗ, ਬਾਈ ਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਈ.ਐਸ.ਐਲ. ਛੋਟੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਸੀ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਾਈਟ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਬੀ.ਸੀ. (ਕੈਨੇਡਾ) ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਲੋਨਾ, ਐਬਟਸਫੋਰਡ, ਸਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਫੋਕਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਕੈਂਪਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰਸਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਮਰ ਦੁਰਾਨੀ, ਰੁਚੀ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀ ਦੇ ਉਘੇ ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਤੇ ਰੀਐਲਟਰ ਡਾ ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਦਿਲਾਵਰੀ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

Surrey, June 13, 2023-Focus College (FC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutes (SVIET), an educational enterprise in Patiala, Punjab, India. This affiliation will open new prospects for undergraduate and postgraduate students of SVIET to complete their studies at FC.
SVIET was established in 2004 under the aegis of Sh. Raghunath Rai Memorial Education & Charitable Trust. A state-of-the-art campus situated 30 km from Chandigarh on the NH-1 Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway. SVIET offers wide range of programs in the field of Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Hospitality & Catering, Education, Computer Applications, Business Studies, Paramedical, Basic Sciences & Law.
FC has been educating and supporting members of our community since first opening its doors in 1992. FC has expanded to offer globally recognized, employment-focused education in Business, IT, and Travel & Tourism, while still offering smaller courses in Office Management, Accounting, Bylaw and ESL.
The collaboration will be mutually beneficial for both institutions and will open different pathways for SVIET students to complete their studies from any of FC four campuses located at Kelowna, Abbotsford, Surrey and Vancouver in BC, Canada. CEO of Focas College Sajjad Ali and Chairman of Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutes (SVIET) Ashwani Garg and President of SVIET) has signed on this MOU.
