ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ ( ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰ ਬਿ)-ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਸੀ ਆਈ ਬੀ ਸੀ ਬੈਂਕ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਪਾਂਸਰ ਰਨ ਫਾਰ ਬਰੈਸਟ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਦਾ ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ ਡਾਉਨ ਟਾਊਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕੈਂਸਰ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਦੌੜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਫੰਡ ਰੇਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌੜ ਵਿਚ ਹਰਲੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਸਪੁਤਰੀ ਤਰਸੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ 40 ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਟੀਮ ਵਲੋਂ 11,000 ਡਾਲਰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਫੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਹਰਲੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੌੜ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਤੇ ਫੰਡ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
A Run for Breast Cancer Cure-
VANCOUVER – On Oct 6th A Run for Breast Cancer sponsored by CIBC Bank, was organized in downtown Vancouver. Thousands of people participated and funds were raised during the run for the cure of cancer. A 40-member team under the leadership of Harleen Kaur Jawanda daughter of S Tarsem Singh Bains participated in this race. Team collected 11,000 dollars and contributed to the cancer fund. Harleen Kaur thanked her team for participating in this race and collecting funds.
