SURREY – Fraser Health is announcing that, effective immediately, the board and Dr. Victoria Lee have mutually agreed that she will be moving on from Fraser Health to pursue other opportunities. Dr. Lynn Stevenson has been appointed as interim president and chief executive officer at Fraser Health.
Following her appointment as president and CEO in 2018, Dr. Lee guided Fraser Health through the COVID-19 pandemic and a range of transformational changes including more than $15 billion in multi-year large capital investments, a system-wide digital twin, and planetary health strategy.
“We would like to thank Dr. Lee for her leadership over the past six and a half years and on behalf of everyone at Fraser Health we wish her well,” said Jim Sinclair, Board Chair, Fraser Health. “We are grateful Dr. Stevenson will be joining the organization, and the Board will be working quickly to recruit a new permanent president and CEO as quickly as possible.”
