28 ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਤੇ 10 ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਏ-

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੀ ਅਨੀਤਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼, ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ-ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਾਏ ਤੇ ਰੂਬੀ ਸਹੋਤਾ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣੇ-

ਓਟਵਾ ( ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰ ਬਿ)- ਅੱਜ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਰਕ ਕਾਰਨੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਦਾ ਗਠਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ  ਰੀਡੋ ਹਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਏ ਇਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਮੈਰੀ ਸਾਈਮਨ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ  28 ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ 10 ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਦ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁਕਾਈ ਗਈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਰਕ ਕਾਰਨੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਕਈ ਨਵੇਂ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਨਵੀਂ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਅਨੀਤਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਈਸਟ ਤੋ  ਐਮ ਪੀ ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਟਰੇਡ ਅਤੇ  ਸਰੀ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਨੌਰਥ ਤੋਂ ਰੂਬੀ ਸਹੋਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਨਵੀਂ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਟੀਆ ਫਰੀਲੈਂਡ ਨੂੰ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਤੇ ਟਰੇਡ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਫਰਾਂਸਿਸ ਸ਼ੈਂਪੇਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੱਤ  ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਜਸਟਿਨ ਟਰੂਡੋ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕਾਰਨੀ  ਨਾਲ ਵ੍ਹਾਈਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ  ਮੇਲਾਨੀ ਜੋਲੀ, ਡੋਮਿਨਿਕ ਲੇਬਲੈਂਕ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਵਿਡ ਮੈਕਗਿੰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੁੜ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।  ਜੋਲੀ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ  ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।ਲੇਬਲੈਂਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਿਵੀ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ-ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਪਾਰ, ਅੰਤਰ-ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੈਕਗਿੰਟੀ ਨੂੰ  ਜਨਤਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਿਲ ਬਲੇਅਰ ਕੋਲ ਸੀ।  ਬਿਲ ਬਲੇਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸਕਾਰਬਰੋਅ ਤੋਂ ਐਮ ਪੀ ਤੇ  ਸ੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਗੈਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਸੈਂਗਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਤਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੇਅਰ ਗਰੈਗ ਰੋਬਬਰਸਟਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਊਸਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਮਹਿਕਮਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
