Edmonton-Edmontonians running in the 2025 Edmonton Election are invited to attend a virtual information session about candidate campaign finances. During the session, Returning Officer Aileen Giesbrecht will walk through campaign finance rules and requirements, and answer questions submitted to elections@edmonton.ca.
The session will also include important information for Edmontonians who submitted a written notice of intent in 2024 to run for City Council, Edmonton Public Schools or Edmonton Catholic Separate School Division trustees. Campaign disclosure statements for 2024 are due on March 3, 2025, and candidates who do not meet the deadline will face fines and potential ineligibility to be nominated to run in the 2025 Edmonton Election.
