ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਐਮਐਲਏ ਪੀਟਰ ਮਿਲੋਬਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ 200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ
ਸਰੀ-ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਬੀਸੀ ਕੰਜ਼ਰਵੇਟਿਵ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਐਮਐਲਏ ਪੀਟਰ ਮਿਲੋਬਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਇਕੱਤਰਤਾ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਇਕੱਤਰਤਾ ਵਿਚ 200 ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰ ਮੈਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਪੀਟਰ ਮਿਲੋਬਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਗੂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਰੀ ਦੇ ਚਿਮਨੀ ਹਿੱਲ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਈਕਲ ਖਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲੋਅਰ ਮੇਨਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਕਈ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਇਕੱਠ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ ਮਾਈਕਲ ਖਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਕੀ ਗਿੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਰਸਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ, ਹਿੰਦੂ, ਮੁਸਲਿਮ, ਈਸਾਈ, ਯਹੂਦੀ, ਕਾਲੇ, ਚੀਨੀ, ਫਿਲੀਪੀਨੋ, ਦੱਖਣੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆਈ, ਆਦਿਵਾਸੀ, ਫਾਰਸੀ, ਕੋਰੀਆਈ, ਅਫਗਾਨ, ਅਰਬ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੇਅਰ ਤੇ ਐਮ ਐਲ ਏ ਲਿੰਡਾ ਹੈਪਨਰ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ ।
ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਟਰ ਮਿਲੋਬਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮਿਲਣ, ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਕ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ, ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ‘ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ।

–Over 200 Community Members Gather in Surrey to Support Leadership Candidate MLA Peter Milobar
Surrey, BC – May 23, 2026 – A powerful show of unity and support was witnessed in Surrey as more than 200 community members gathered at a special Meet & Greet reception in honour of BC Conservative leadership candidate MLA Peter Milobar.
The event, hosted at the residence of Michael Khan in Chimney Hill, Surrey, brought together people from many different cultural and faith communities across the Lower Mainland. The gathering was hosted by Michael Khan along with community leaders Vikky Gill and Rasinder Kaur.
Guests from Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Black, Chinese, Filipino, South Asian, Indigenous, Persian, Korean, Afghan, Arab, Punjabi, and many other diverse communities attended the event to show their support and appreciation for Peter Milobar’s leadership vision for British Columbia.
The atmosphere throughout the evening was energetic and positive, with many attendees expressing excitement and confidence in Peter Milobar as a strong future leader for the province. The large crowd and enthusiastic response reflected growing grassroots support from multicultural communities.
Special guest Linda Hepner also attended the gathering and connected with community members during the event.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet directly with Peter Milobar, discuss important provincial and community issues, and share ideas focused on economic growth, safer communities, youth opportunities, and stronger leadership for British Columbia.
